SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Virgil L. "Bob" Eubanks of Port Byron,
4who passed away on February 11, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Virgil Eubanks was born in Marshalltown, Iowa to
6Glen and Lucille Eubanks on October 15, 1937; he served in the
7United States Navy and married Betty Ann; he later married Ann
8Margaret Beeson in Texas on December 5, 1991; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Virgil Eubanks worked as a fork lift operator for
10General Motors for 30 years, retiring on July 6, 1990; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Virgil Eubanks enjoyed traveling and digging for
12gold; he loved to watch NASCAR, motocross racing, and boxing;
13he especially loved old country music and spending time with
14his family, and his dog, Baxter; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Virgil Eubanks was preceded in death by his
16parents; his daughter, Vicky; and 3 siblings; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Virgil Eubanks is survived by his loving wife,
18Ann; his children, Dale (Paula) Eubanks and Cynthia Eubanks;
19his 8 grandchildren; his many great-grandchildren; and his
20siblings, Pat, Dean, Willey, and Ivy; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
3Virgil L. "Bob" Eubanks, and extend our sincere condolences to
4his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
5further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of Virgil Eubanks as an expression of
8our deepest sympathy.
