SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Robert B. Boltz of Milan, who passed away on February 5, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Robert Boltz was born on August 17, 1938 in Quincy; his parents were Orville and Mary (nee McClintock) Boltz; he married Betty Craig on July 18, 1970; and

WHEREAS, Robert Boltz was a member of the United States Army; and

WHEREAS, Robert Boltz had been employed at the former International Harvester Works for 32 years, and retired from Navistar in Springfield, Ohio; and

WHEREAS, Robert Boltz was a member of the Milan Lions Club and a supporter of the Milan Improvement Project; and

WHEREAS, Robert Boltz was preceded in death by his parents; and

WHEREAS, Robert Boltz is survived by his wife, Betty; his daughters and sons-in-law, Charlene and Lenard Easter and Erin and J.D. Nesset; his grandchildren, Amber, David, Caleb, Alayna, Taylor, and Aubrey; his great-grandchildren, Matthew and Alice; and his sisters, Carolyn Peterson and Barbara McClintock; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Robert B. Boltz; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Robert Boltz as an expression of our sympathy.
