| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Hector "Tony" DeKezel of Moline, who | 4 | | passed away on January 25, 2016; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Hector DeKezel was born on September 5, 1917 in | 6 | | Moline; his parents were Theophil and Marie DuPont DeKezel; he | 7 | | married Marie Callant on May 3, 1941 in Moline; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Hector DeKezel served in the United States Army | 9 | | during World War II; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Hector DeKezel retired from John Deere Harvester | 11 | | Works in East Moline after 37 years of service; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Hector DeKezel was a member of Sacred Heart | 13 | | Church, the Moline Community Center, CASI, Quad City Plus 60, | 14 | | and John Deere Union Local 865; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Hector DeKezel enjoyed traveling, dancing, and | 16 | | playing cards; and | 17 | | WHEREAS, Hector DeKezel was preceded in death by his wife, | 18 | | Marie, and his son, James; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Hector DeKezel is survived by his grandchildren, | 2 | | Brian, James, Jr. (Allison), and Jessica (Chad) Finch; his | 3 | | daughter-in-law, Kathy; and his 8 great-grandchildren; | 4 | | therefore, be it
| 5 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | 6 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | 7 | | family and friends, mourn the passing of Hector "Tony" DeKezel; | 8 | | and be it further
| 9 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 10 | | presented to the family of Hector DeKezel as an expression of | 11 | | our sympathy.
