SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Rodney Casillas of Moline, who passed away on January 21, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Rodney Casillas was born on June 1, 1970 in Moline; his parents were Joe "Patrick" and Elena Oliva Casillas; and

WHEREAS, Rodney Casillas was a veteran of the United States Air Force; and

WHEREAS, Rodney Casillas was the owner of Rodney Casillas Insurance Solutions in Bettendorf, Iowa; and

WHEREAS, Rodney Casillas was preceded in death by his father; and

WHEREAS, Rodney Casillas is survived by his mother, Elena; his children, Kaylie Bowerman, Kory Armstrong, and Jamie Hoskins; his sisters, Sharon Casillas and Cindi Casillas; his brothers, Steve and Joseph Casillas; his nieces and nephews; Christine Cook, Johnathan Casillas, Alan Cook, Drew Casillas, and Elizabeth Bucciero; his great-niece, Hailee Casillas; his many aunts and uncles; and his lifelong friend, Martin Pizano; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Rodney Casillas; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Rodney Casillas as an expression of our sympathy.
