SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Stephen Dudley Bierbaum, who passed away on January 5, 2016 at the age of 67; and

WHEREAS, Stephen Bierbaum was a native of the Alton area; and

WHEREAS, Stephen Bierbaum had a 40-year career with Olin Brass, retiring in 2008; and

WHEREAS, In his last days, Stephen Bierbaum often mentioned that he loved his Jesus and he loved his family; and

WHEREAS, Stephen Bierbaum and his loving wife of 45 years, Jean, had 3 children, Brett (Barb) Bierbaum, Sarah (Scott) Folmnsbee, and Greta Bierbaum, and 9 grandchildren, Lauren Bierbaum (Zach) Miller, Cierra Smith, Briana Folmnsbee, Katie Bierbaum, Abbie Bierbaum, Liza Smith, Madison Erwin, Cora Smith, and Colton Bierbaum; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Stephen Dudley Bierbaum; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Stephen Bierbaum as an expression of our sympathy.
