SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Edward A. Feldhahn of Rock Island, who passed away on December 20, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Edward Feldhahn was born on February 3, 1928 in Rock Island; his parents were Arthur and Charlotte Danielson Feldhahn; he married Florene B. Spence on November 21, 1948 in Rock Island; and

WHEREAS, Edward Feldhahn worked in production control at the Rock Island Arsenal until his retirement in 1988 after 30 years of service; and

WHEREAS, Edward Feldhahn served in the United States Army with an artillery division during the Korean Conflict; and

WHEREAS, Edward Feldhahn was a member of the Church of Peace United Church of Christ in Rock Island; he enjoyed playing pool and cheering on the Chicago Cubs; and

WHEREAS, Edward Feldhahn was preceded in death by his wife and his brother, Bill Feldhahn; and

WHEREAS, Edward Feldhahn is survived by his daughter, Kathy Price; his son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Diana Feldhahn; his grandchildren, Hailey and Garrett Feldhahn and Rachael and Ryan Price; his sisters, Arliss Stone and Joyce (John) Peters; his brother, Al Feldhahn; and his many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Edward A. Feldhahn; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Edward Feldhahn as an expression of our sympathy.
