SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Melvin S. Mayer of Deerfield; and

WHEREAS, Melvin Mayer was the beloved husband of 67 years of Lorraine "Lorrie" (nee Oppenheim); the loving father of Gary (Janice) Mayer, Carol (Vanessa McLean) Mayer, and Kathy (Bruce) Skinner; and the adored grandpa of Rachel Skinner; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Melvin S. Mayer; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Melvin Mayer as an expression of our sympathy.
