SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Brian H. Jasper of Milan, who passed away on November 19, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Brian Jasper was born on October 22, 1953 in Rock Island; his parents were Malvern and Frances Reinhart Jasper; he married Vicki Schaecher on May 26, 1973 in Rock Island; and

WHEREAS, Brian Jasper proudly served as a member of the United States Navy; and

WHEREAS, Brian Jasper was an iron worker for Iron Workers Local 111 in Rock Island, where he retired in October of 2014 after many years of service; and

WHEREAS, Brian Jasper was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Greg Jasper; and

WHEREAS, Brian Jasper is survived by his wife, Vicki; his mother; his children, Amy Groene, Christopher Jasper, Laura (David) Otten, and Steven Jasper; his grandchildren, Lauren Groene and Liam Otten; and his siblings, Kathy Jasper, Beth (Rick) Ater, and Mark (Shiela) Jasper; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Brian H. Jasper; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Brian Jasper as an expression of our sympathy.
