SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Wilman F. Oslund of East Moline, who passed away on November 8, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Wilman Oslund was born on February 29, 1932 in Moline; his parents were Fred and Lula Sampee Oslund; and

WHEREAS, Wilman Oslund retired from the United States Navy, having sailed around the world 2 and a half times; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Wilman F. Oslund; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Wilman Oslund as an expression of our sympathy.
