SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Lowell G. Mork of Milan, who passed away on October 31, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Lowell Mork was born on August 11, 1920 in Kenneth, Minnesota; his parents were Gustaf and Marie Mork; he married Mary Pauline O'Conner on March 31, 1956; and

WHEREAS, Lowell Mork was self-employed as a chiropractor; and

WHEREAS, Lowell Mork served his country as a member of the United States Army during World War II; and

WHEREAS, Lowell Mork enjoyed hunting and fishing; and

WHEREAS, Lowell Mork was preceded in death by his wife, Mary; his parents; his sisters, Alice, Gladys, and Hazel; and his brothers, David, Gustaf, Howard, Russell, Roger, Dale, and Brice; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Lowell G. Mork; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Lowell Mork as an expression of our sympathy.
