SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Ronald L. Baker of East Moline, who passed away on October 8, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Ronald Baker was born in Moline on December 31, 1943 to Leonard Carl and Betty Jane Stoedter Baker; he married Rhody Coon on December 5, 1974 in East Moline; and

WHEREAS, Ronald Baker owned and operated Son's & Dad's Home Remodeling; and

WHEREAS, Ronald Baker loved playing bingo, fishing, and camping; he enjoyed spending his free time fishing with Joe; he loved the holidays because all the kids would be home; and

WHEREAS, Ronald Baker was preceded in death by his parents; and

WHEREAS, Ronald Baker is survived by his wife, Rhody; his sons, Scott Delles and Rick Delles (Melissa Gustafson); his daughter, Crystal Delles (Kim Pauley); his grandchildren, Brittney, Brandon, Amanda, Chyann, Justin, Jennifer, Daniel, Katelynn, and Sarah; his 10 great-grandchildren; his 2 great-great-grandchildren; his brother, Joe (Marie) Goodman; and his sister, Pam Ward; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Ronald L. Baker, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Ronald Baker as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
