SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Geraldine Ann "Jerrie" Kruemmelbein of Bunker Hill, who passed away on October 4, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Geraldine Kruemmelbein was born on January 15, 1937 in Jerseyville; her parents were Dennis Lahey and Alice (nee Butler) Lahey; she married Robert Kruemmelbein on May 10, 1959 at St. Mary's Church in Bunker Hill; and

WHEREAS, Geraldine Kruemmelbein was employed as a bookkeeper for Rull Hardware/Spickerman Hardware of Bunker Hill; and

WHEREAS, Geraldine Kruemmelbein was a member of the St. Ann's Altar Society, Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Bethalto, and the Red Hat Society; and

WHEREAS, Geraldine Kruemmelbein was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; and her brother, Ron Lahey; and

WHEREAS, Geraldine Kruemmelbein is survived by her daughter, Kim (Wally) Stewart; her sons, Rob Kruemmelbein and Rick (Wendy) Kruemmelbein; her grandchildren, Jason (Meghan) Brooks, Danielle (Pat) Sears, Alicia Stewart, Jake Krauss, Brandon Kruemmelbein, Elizabeth Kruemmelbein, and Danna Kruemmelbein; and her great-grandchildren, Aubrie Brooks, Decker Brooks, and Liam Sears; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Geraldine Ann "Jerrie" Kruemmelbein; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Geraldine Kruemmelbein as an expression of our sympathy.
