SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Louis L. Ingerson of Coal Valley, who passed away on September 12, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Louis Ingerson was born on September 9, 1938 in Edwards, New York; his parents were Norris and Ellen (nee Averill) Ingerson; he married Judith Wesanen on February 9, 1963 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and

WHEREAS, Louis Ingerson served his country as a member of the United States Army; and

WHEREAS, Louis Ingerson retired from John Deere Harvester in East Moline in 1991 after 27 years of service; and

WHEREAS, Louis Ingerson enjoyed woodworking, working on his electronic business, fixing things, and spending time with his grandchildren and pets; and

WHEREAS, Louis Ingerson was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Kitto and Margaret Chapman, and his twin, Lois Cooke; and

WHEREAS, Louis Ingerson is survived by his wife, Judi; his children, Donna Ingerson, John (Carrie) Ingerson, and Chad (Aimee) Ingerson; his 6 grandchildren; his great-granddaughter; and his sister, Lucy Peterson; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Louis L. Ingerson; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Louis Ingerson as an expression of our sympathy.
