SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Joe E. Waite of Moline, who passed away on September 5, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Joe Waite was born on August 4, 1940 in Centerville, Iowa; his parents were Pearl and Ruby (nee Owens) Waite; he married Susan Johnson on January 27, 1978 in Moline; and

WHEREAS, Joe Waite served his country as a member of the United States Navy; and

WHEREAS, Joe Waite was employed with Sears Roebuck and Company in Rock Island; and

WHEREAS, Joe Waite enjoyed ham radios and being a TV repairman; and

WHEREAS, Joe Waite was preceded in death by a sister; and

WHEREAS, Joe Waite is survived by his wife, Susan, and a son, Jason Waite; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Joe E. Waite; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Joe Waite as an expression of our sympathy.
