HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate Nazareth Academy in LaGrange Park on winning the 2015 Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Class 5A Football Championship; and

WHEREAS, The Nazareth Academy Roadrunners defeated Lincolnway West High School on November 28, 2015 by a score of 42 to 21 to capture their second consecutive IHSA football championship; and

WHEREAS, The Nazareth Academy Roadrunners entered the championship game with a record of 12 wins and 2 losses; and

WHEREAS, The Nazareth Academy Roadrunners are Ivory Kelly-Martin, Andrew Rouse, Jr., Carson Bartels, Joey Muscolino, Blaine Bilek, Christopher Simmons, Joshua Oglesby, Bobby Grimes, William McKenna, Mark Mercado, Frank Bakovich, Jeremy Puckett, Ethan Tosheff, Jacob Oquendo, Daniel Wilkinson, Devin Blakley, Jack Gloor, Sam Byczek, Christian Davis, Nicholas Lugo, Austin Reifsteck, Cameron Holquist, Julian Love, Joseph N. RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Nazareth Academy on winning the Illinois High School Association Class 5A Football Championship; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Nazareth Academy Roadrunners as an expression of our esteem and respect.
