HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives wish to offer encouragement to Xaivore Ty
4Adcock, a student at Wesclin Middle School just outside of New
5Baden, where he lives with his loving father, step-mother, and
6siblings; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Xaivore Adcock is a very special boy for his age;
8he would like to be a police officer when he grows up, and like
9most boys, he loves football (especially the Chicago Bears) and
10playing in the dirt with his cars, tractors, and monster
11trucks; he has met some incredible challenges in his young
12life; he was diagnosed with cancer, but it is not the
13challenges that face him that make him special; it is his
14tremendous courage and ability to love life, his friends, and
15his family amidst the challenges he faces that makes him so
16special; and
 
17    WHEREAS, The example that Xaivore Adcock provides with his
18everyday actions is an example in which we all can find
19inspiration; he exemplifies courage, strength, and
20perseverance as he battles this terrible illness; and
 
21    WHEREAS, We also acknowledge and offer encouragement to
22Xaivore Adcock's family and friends in their continuing effort

1to support him, including: his father, Nicholas G. Adcock; his
2step-mother, Eve Adcock; his step-sister, Mariah J. Sauerhage;
3his step-sister, Hannah S. Sauerhage; his sister, Lillianne N.
4Adcock; his brother, William G. Adcock; his sister, Abigail M.
5Adcock; his paternal grandmother, Ann Adcock; his paternal
6grandfather, Dennis Adcock; and his paternal aunt, Rebecca
7Varel; therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
9NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
10offer our prayers, greatest hopes, and best wishes to Xaivore
11Adcock in his ongoing battle with this illness; and be it
12further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the Adcock Family as an expression of our
15admiration and respect.
