HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Fred M. Evans, who passed away on September 13, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Fred Evans was born on January 1, 1930 in New Albany, Mississippi; his parents were "Ches" and Onnie Evans; he married Glenda Allen on August 3, 1980; and

WHEREAS, Fred Evans retired from Pabst Blue Ribbon in 1981 after many years of service; and

WHEREAS, Fred Evans was an active member of Peoria Friendship Missionary Baptist Church from 1977 until the time of his illness; he was also a member of the Peter H. Clark Elks Lodge #483; and

WHEREAS, Fred Evans was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, Palmer, Roscoe, and Charles Evans; and his sister, Hazel Leaper; and

WHEREAS, Fred Evans is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Glenda; together, they had one daughter, Misty (Lonnie) Beasley, and two grandchildren, Jalen Evans and Lonna Beasley; he is also survived by his sons, Doug (Linda), Lawrence, Fred (Cathy), and Nate (Lois) Evans; his stepsons, Thomas (Tamara), Timothy (Julia), Tyson, and Tyrin (Matou) Wilson; his godson, Clifford (Debra) Ware; 22 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and his many nieces, nephews, and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Fred M. Evans; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Fred Evans as an expression of our sympathy.
