HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to recognize the Sports Unlimited club at Moline High School on its work with special needs students; and

WHEREAS, Sports Unlimited was formed by Saneha Borisuth and other students in order to connect special needs students with a group of great Moline High students; and

WHEREAS, Sports Unlimited is comprised of 90 student volunteers that work to come up with fun, engaging activities for special needs students; and

WHEREAS, The mission of Sports Unlimited is to help special needs students feel more accepted by implementing fun activities in a safe environment; these students gain valuable life-lessons from each activity; and

WHEREAS, The students that volunteer have gained measurable life-lessons by volunteering to help those in the club; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we recognize Sports Unlimited on its work with special needs student and wish it many more successful years; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Sports Unlimited as an expression of our esteem and respect.
