HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Captain Ron Atchison has been a member of Kankakee Fire Fighters International Association of Fire Fighters Local 653 for over 26 years; and

WHEREAS, Cpt. Atchison began his firefighting career with the City of Kankakee Fire Department on December 6, 1988; and

WHEREAS, Cpt. Atchison has worked his way through the ranks as Firefighter, Lieutenant, and Captain; and

WHEREAS, Cpt. Atchinson retired from the Kankakee Fire Department on May 6, 2015; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Captain Ron Atchison on his retirement and recognize the contributions he has given to the Kankakee Fire Department and the International Association of Fire Fighters Local 653 and we wish him the best in all his future endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Cpt. Atchison as an expression of our esteem and respect.
