1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives with to congratulate Sister M. Christine
4 Crowder, FSGM on 50 years as a member of the Sisters of St.
5 Francis of the Martyr St. George; and

6     WHEREAS, Sister Crowder professed her vows on March 19,
7 1966 in Alton; and

8     WHEREAS, Sister Crowder holds a Bachelor of Science in
9 Nursing from Saint Louis University and a Masters in
10 Spirituality from the Notre Dame Institute in Middleburg,
11 Virginia; and

12     WHEREAS, Sister Crowder has served as a registered nurse
13 and in pastoral care at Saint Anthony's Health Center in Alton
14 and as postulant director, junior director, and provincial
15 vicar at the St. Francis Convent in Alton; and

16     WHEREAS, Sister Crowder currently serves as
17 superior/administrator of Mother of Good Counsel Home in St.
18 Louis, Missouri; and

19     WHEREAS, Sister Crowder is a native of St. Louis, Missouri;
20 therefore, be it

1     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
2 NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
3 congratulate Sister M. Christine Crowder, FSGM on 50 years as a
4 member of the Sisters of St. Francis of the Martyr St. George;
5 and be it further

6     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7 presented to Sister Crowder as an expression of our esteem and
8 respect.
