HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate the members of the Dee-Mack girls volleyball team on the occasion of their remarkable 2014-2015 season, finishing with a record of 36 wins and 3 losses, and winning a first place State title; and

WHEREAS, The team had a successful season with several impressive highlights, including 2nd place in the Central Illinois Traveling Tournament, 2nd place at the Pekin Invitational, 1st place at the Reed-Custer Invitational, and 2nd place at the HOIC Volleyball Conference Tournament; and

WHEREAS, The team was undefeated and became conference champions with a 12-0 record; the team finished their season with a Class 2A State Championship; and

WHEREAS, Brandon Mueller is the team's head coach and Kelsey Hough is the team's Assistant Coach; and

WHEREAS, The members of the team include Maranda Schaley, Mikayla Seibert, Lauren Anderson, Maddie McGinnes, Kaleigh Krause, Caitlynn Whitaker, Kara Rich, Jenny Rickett, Kenzie Rhodes, Isabella Gruse, Lydia Weigand, Macey Peterson, Addie Patton, Chelsea Pawlak, and Kathleen Creager; and

WHEREAS, The Dee-Mack girls volleyball team is a model for success, setting team records and showing their strong moral character; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the members of the Dee-Mack girls volleyball team on the occasion of their successful 2014-2015 season and State Championship, and wish them great success in the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Dee-Mack players and their coaches as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
