HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate the Uplift Titans on winning the Illinois High School Association Division 2A State Championship; and

WHEREAS, The Uplift Titans defeated the St. Teresa Bulldogs of Decatur by a score of 53 to 47 to claim the championship; and

WHEREAS, Jeremy Roscoe was the Player of the Game; and

WHEREAS, The Uplift Titans are coached by David Taylor; and

WHEREAS, This was truly a "dream season" for the Uplift Titans; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the Uplift Titans on winning the Illinois High School Association Division 2A State Championship; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Uplift Titans as an expression of our esteem and respect.
