HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate Tim Gage on the occasion of his retirement as Chief of the Goreville Fire Department after 29 years of service; and

WHEREAS, During his career with the Goreville Fire Department, Tim Gage helped to make the department what it is today through his great dedication and faithful service to the citizens of Goreville; and

WHEREAS, In addition to his service with the Goreville Fire Department, Tim Gage served on the Goreville Village Board for 20 years; and

WHEREAS, Following his retirement, Tim Gage will continue to work at the Goreville Fire Department as a fireman and serve as a mentor to the department's firemen; and

WHEREAS, Tim Gage and his loving wife, Cheryl, have two children, Jordon and Christofer, and two grandchildren; and

WHEREAS, Tim Gage serves as a model of hard work, integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of Illinois; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Tim Gage on the occasion of his retirement and wish him continued success and happiness in the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Tim Gage as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
