1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to congratulate Brad Harrison for
4 his outstanding achievements as a pitcher and outfielder for
5 the O'Fallon Township High School baseball team; and

6     WHEREAS, Brad Harrison was recently placed on the IHSA 2016
7 4A All-State Team; and

8     WHEREAS, Brad Harrison received the prestigious honor of
9 being placed on the 2016 Louisville Slugger High School
10 All-America first team; he was also named Player of the Year by
11 the Belleville News-Democrat; and

12     WHEREAS, Brad Harrison will join the Southern Illinois
13 University Salukis baseball team as a two-way player as an
14 outfielder and as a member of the pitching staff for the
15 2016-2017 season; and

16     WHEREAS, Brad Harrison completed the 2015-2016 season with
17 12 wins and zero losses as a pitcher; and

18     WHEREAS, Brad Harrison completed the 2015-2016 season as a
19 hitter with 35 RBIs and six home runs, with an impressive
20 batting average of .402; therefore, be it

1     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
2 NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
3 congratulate Brad Harrison for his outstanding achievements as
4 a pitcher and outfielder for the O'Fallon Township High School
5 Panthers baseball team and wish him well in the future; and be
6 it further

7     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8 presented to Brad Harrison as a symbol of our admiration and
9 respect.
