HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to recognize Apostle Dr. Marshall Davis on the occasion of his 30th anniversary as Pastor of the Chicagoland Christian Center Embassy; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Davis was called to the ministry in 1986; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Davis serves his congregants through education, the food pantry, the school of ministry, the senior living building, and the Marshall Davis Ministries; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Davis and his wife, Prophetess Dr. Catherine Davis, have been married for 46 years and have five children and three grandchildren; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Davis continues to serve his community with wisdom, integrity, valor, and compassion; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we recognize Apostle Dr. Marshall Davis on his 30th anniversary as Pastor of the Chicagoland Christian Center Embassy and we wish him many more wonderful years; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Dr. Davis as an expression of our esteem and respect.
