1    AN ACT concerning State government.
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. Property. The State of Illinois owns the
5following real property, commonly known as the Centralia Animal
6Disease Laboratory at the mailing address 9732 Shattuc Road,
7Centralia, Illinois 62801:
 
8A tract of land located in the SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section
93, T1N, R1W, of the 3rd P.M., Clinton County, Illinois, more
10particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Northwest
11corner of said Section 3, T1N, R1W, 3rd P.M., thence on an
12assumed bearing of S. 87° 43' 18" E, a distance of 30.00 feet,
13thence S. 00° 00' 00" W, a distance of 1747.27 feet, thence N.
1487° 36' 10" E, a distance of 676.34 feet to the "point of
15beginning", thence along a curve concave Northeasterly tangent
16to the last described course and having a radius of 312.33 feet
17and an arc distance of 295.42 feet, thence N. 33° 24' 34" E, a
18distance of 104.42 feet, thence S. 77° 10' 51" E, a distance of
19354.55 feet, thence S. 00° 13' 42" W, a distance of 416.94
20feet, thence N. 89° 08' 04" W, a distance of 409.89 feet,
21thence N. 42° 23' 50" W, a distance of 355.00 feet to the
22"point of beginning" and enclosing an area of 5.20 acres, more
23or less; except the coal, oil, gas and other minerals

1underlying; and subject to easements, rights of way,
2restrictions and covenants of record;
3Permanent Index No. 15-14-03-100-002.
 
4    Section 10. Conveyance. (a) Upon the payment of the sum of
5$1 to the State of Illinois, and subject to the conditions set
6forth in subsection (b), the Director of Agriculture, on behalf
7of the State of Illinois and the Department of Agriculture,
8must convey by quitclaim deed all right, title, and interest of
9the State of Illinois and the Department of Agriculture in and
10to the real property described in Section 5 to Kaskaskia
11College.
12    (b) The quitclaim deed to Kaskaskia College shall state on
13its face and be subject to the conditions that the real
14property shall be used by Kaskaskia College for educational
15purposes and that if Kaskaskia College ceases to exist or if
16the real property is used for any purposes other than
17educational purposes, then title shall revert without further
18action to the State of Illinois.
 
19    Section 15. Recording. The Director of Agriculture shall
20prepare one or more quitclaim deeds to convey the real
21property. The Director may also record a certified copy of this
22Act. Each quitclaim deed shall reference this Act and contain
23the reversionary language from subsection (b) of Section 10.
24All documents of conveyance must be recorded in the county in

1which the land is located.
 
2    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
3becoming law.
