SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Sarah Ellen Tripp, who passed away on August 19, 2012; and

WHEREAS, Sarah Tripp was born on October 25, 1924, in Mason City; her parents were Julian and Louise Price; she married E.W. Tripp in 1943; and

WHEREAS, Sarah Tripp was preceded in death by her parents; her 4 brothers; her sister; and her son-in-law; and

WHEREAS, Sarah Tripp is survived by her husband; her son, Robert (Carolyn) Tripp; her daughters, Brenda DeCanter, Becky (Phil) Novak, and Erin Aldrich; her 4 grandchildren; her 5 great-grandchildren; and her 2 brothers and 2 sisters; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Sarah Ellen Tripp; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Sarah Tripp as an expression of our sympathy.
