HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Ryan Royall of Country Club Hills; and

WHEREAS, Ryan Royall had just finished his junior year at Hillcrest High School, where he was a standout guard for the school's basketball team and earned All-Conference honors last season; he also played on a summer league team; and

WHEREAS, Ryan Royall was seeking an athletic scholarship so his mother would not have to worry about paying for his college education; he sought to have a career in the NBA and attain a degree in sports medicine; and

WHEREAS, Ryan Royall will be remembered by all who knew and loved him as a hard-working and friendly young man who was wise beyond his years; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Ryan Royall; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Ryan Royall as an expression of our sympathy.
