| | 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | | 3 | | to learn of the death of David H. Stonecipher of Hanna City, | | 4 | | who passed away on October 28, 2023; and
| | 5 | | WHEREAS, David Stonecipher was born in Pierce County, | | 6 | | Washington to Carl A. and Sally J. Shepard on November 22, | | 7 | | 1955; he served in the U.S. Army; he married Stephanie L. | | 8 | | Sleister in Peoria on December 27, 1998; and
| | 9 | | WHEREAS, David Stonecipher worked for the State of | | 10 | | Illinois as a rehab case coordinator, retiring in August 2022; | | 11 | | and
| | 12 | | WHEREAS, David Stonecipher loved being retired; he also | | 13 | | loved living on the farm and enjoyed four wheeling, horses, | | 14 | | and the outdoors; and
| | 15 | | WHEREAS, David Stonecipher was preceded in death by his | | 16 | | parents; and
| | 17 | | WHEREAS, David Stonecipher is survived by his wife, | | 18 | | Stephanie, and his siblings, Michael (Ikui) Stonecipher, Greg | | 19 | | (Chris) Stonecipher, and Cindy (Gary) Cole; therefore, be it
