HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate the Illinois Area Agencies on Aging on the occasion of its 50 years of service; and

WHEREAS, The State of Illinois has a long and cherished history of caring for its older adults while recognizing their wisdom, experience, and contributions to our communities; and

WHEREAS, For five decades, the Illinois Area Agencies on Aging have been unwavering advocates of our senior citizens, providing vital support, guidance, and resources to help them age well and maintain their independence; and

WHEREAS, The Illinois Area Agencies on Aging have been both pillars of support for older adults and engines of transformation, evolving and adapting to meet the ever-changing needs of our aging population, ensuring that they continue to lead lives of vitality, fulfillment, and purpose; and

WHEREAS, The Illinois Area Agencies on Aging's 50-year anniversary marks a half century of dedication, innovation, and service provided by its 13 area agencies across our State; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the Illinois Area Agencies on Aging for its 50 years of service; and be it further

RESOLVED, That we encourage all Illinois residents to recognize the invaluable contributions the Illinois Area Agencies on Aging have made to our State's senior citizens.
