1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to congratulate the Burbank National
4 Little League Senior Division on its recent achievements; and

5     WHEREAS, The Burbank National Little League is a nonprofit
6 youth organization and a charter member of Little League
7 Baseball and Softball; and

8     WHEREAS, The Burbank National Little League has won over
9 80 Little League championships, from the district level to the
10 national level, over the past 35 years; and

11     WHEREAS, The Burbank National Little League Senior
12 Division won the Illinois and Central Region championships in
13 2022, competing in the Senior League Baseball World Series in
14 2022; and

15     WHEREAS, The Burbank National Little League Senior
16 Division earned repeat victories as the Illinois and Central
17 Region champions in 2023, again competing in the Senior League
18 Baseball World Series; therefore, be it

19     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
20 HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that

1 we congratulate the Burbank National Little League Senior
2 Division on its recent achievements, and we wish the team
3 continued success; and be it further

4     RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be
5 presented to all members of the Burbank National Little League
6 Senior Division as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
