| | 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | | 3 | | learn of the death of James R. Dolan, Sr.; and
| | 4 | | WHEREAS, James Dolan, Sr. graduated from St. Leo High | | 5 | | School in 1949; he was a founding and lifetime member of | | 6 | | Boneheads S.A.C.; and
| | 7 | | WHEREAS, James Dolan, Sr. served his country as a member of | | 8 | | the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War; and
| | 9 | | WHEREAS, James Dolan, Sr. was employed with the Chicago | | 10 | | Police Department from 1958 to 1992; and
| | 11 | | WHEREAS, James Dolan, Sr. was the beloved husband of Helen | | 12 | | (nee Kolegas) for 58 years; the proud father of Jeanne (Mark) | | 13 | | Grohovena, Jim Jr. (Anne), Janet (Dolly), Martin, Mary (Dave) | | 14 | | Howicz, and Christine Atkins; the cherished grandfather of | | 15 | | James III (Lauren) Dolan, Emily (Brian) Whalen, Andrew, | | 16 | | Nicholas, and Sean Dolan, Garret and Elena Howicz, and John | | 17 | | Robert Atkins; the great-grandfather of Eleanor, James Robert | | 18 | | Dolan IV, and Luke Whalen; the dear brother of Peggy (Phil) | | 19 | | Graham, Maureen (Mike) Lavin, Martin (Kim) Dolan, Michael | | 20 | | (Kathleen) Dolan, Nancy Dolan and the late Mary Jeanne (Jim) | | 21 | | Salach; and the devoted uncle of 40 nieces and nephews; |
