| | 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | | 3 | | learn of the death of Lawrence W. Leeke, Jr. of McHenry, who | | 4 | | passed away on December 14, 2013; and
| | 5 | | WHEREAS, Lawrence Leeke, Jr. was born on May 4, 1941 in | | 6 | | Chicago; his parents were Lawrence Leeke, Sr. and Jane (nee | | 7 | | Henderson) Leeke; and
| | 8 | | WHEREAS, Lawrence Leeke, Jr. was a retired electrician and | | 9 | | a proud member of International Brotherhood of Electrical | | 10 | | Workers Local 134; and
| | 11 | | WHEREAS, Lawrence Leeke, Jr. enjoyed playing golf, | | 12 | | bowling, fishing, and pinochle; and
| | 13 | | WHEREAS, Lawrence Leeke, Jr. was preceded in death by his | | 14 | | wife, Sandra (nee Felix) Leeke, and his parents; and
| | 15 | | WHEREAS, Lawrence Leeke, Jr. is survived by his dear | | 16 | | children, Dawn (Kevin) Denna, Michael Leeke, Larry (Eileen) | | 17 | | Leeke, and Lisa (Dan) Kearns; his granddaughter, Rosalie Masi; | | 18 | | and his siblings, Marion (Chuck) Schwake, Thelma Nelson, | | 19 | | Dorothy Brissette, Thomas (Lois) Leeke, James (Sally) Leeke, | | 20 | | and Lorrain (Douglas) Damrow; therefore, be it
