SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Dorothy H. Lindeman of Vernon Hills, who passed away on January 17, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Dorothy Lindeman was born on December 16, 1907, in Chicago; she was a former resident of Waukegan and North Chicago and lived in Vernon Hills for the past 10 years; and

WHEREAS, Dorothy Lindeman was a member of St. Mary of Vernon Parish; and

WHEREAS, Dorothy Lindeman enjoyed playing the piano, crafts, and traveling the world; and

WHEREAS, Dorothy Lindeman was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy Ann and Fred Louis, and her 11 brothers and sisters, including Lauretta Simpson; and

WHEREAS, Dorothy Lindeman is survived by her son, T. Larry Lindeman; her grandchildren, Lauri Holtzman, Frank (Kathy) Louis, Margaret Louis, Carolyn Louis, and Paul (Bethany) Louis; her great-grandchildren, Dr. Rebecca Holtzman, Sarah Holtzman, and Jonathan, Sydney, and Kaelyn Louis; and her many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Dorothy H. Lindeman; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Dorothy Lindeman as an expression of our sympathy.
