SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Gloria Hope Scholz of McHenry, who passed
4away on October 28, 2013; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Gloria Scholz was born on May 26, 1931 in Lyons;
6her parents were George and Jessica (nee Maves) Behrens; she
7married Louis Scholz on September 7, 1957 in Crystal Lake; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Gloria Scholz was a member of Redeemer Lutheran
9Church in Woodstock; she was a member of a quilters group and
10she enjoyed making quilts for World Relief; she volunteered for
11many years at Senior Services of McHenry County; she was also a
12member of the Wii Bowling league at Heritage Woods of McHenry;
13and
 
14    WHEREAS, Gloria Scholz was preceded in death by her
15parents; her husband, Louis Scholz; and her brothers, Robert
16Behrens, Harold Behrens, Lloyd Behrens, and George Behrens; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Gloria Scholz is survived by her children, Michael
18Hansler, Chris (John) Ormerod, Lou (Lynette) Scholz, and
19Jeanette Scholz; her grandchildren, Robert Hansler, Dan
20Hansler, Jason Stevens, Jenny Jenkins, Ashley Moon, Shannon
21Borhart, Josh Scholz, and Tyler Scholz; her 12

1great-grandchildren; her brother, Richard Behrens; her
2sisters, Patricia Kleinschmidt and Deborah Kimson; and her many
3nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
6family and friends, mourn the passing of Gloria Hope Scholz;
7and be it further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Gloria Scholz as an expression of
10our sympathy.
