SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Darrell H. Everett of Ringwood, who
4passed away on October 24, 2013; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Darrell Everett was born on May 1, 1933 in Saint
6Louis, Missouri to Bradford and Dorothy (nee Hadley) Everett;
7he attended the University of Wyoming for 2 years and then
8joined the United States Army for 2 years; he then earned his
9Bachelor's Degree in Marketing at Bradley University in Peoria,
10where he was a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity and
11President of the Veterans Club; he married Jeannette La Forge
12on June 21, 1958 at First Congregational Church in Crystal
13Lake; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Darrell Everett was co-founder of Boxer Rebound
15Incorporated, a rescue organization for boxers; he was owner of
16Lucky-K Kennel in Ringwood and enjoyed hunting and showing
17dogs; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Darrell Everett was preceded in death by his
19parents; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Darrell Everett is survived by his wife,
21Jeannette; his children, Vanessa (Steven) Everett-Kotyza and

1Brett (the late Kelley) Everett; his grandchildren, Jacob and
2Cassandra Everett; and his great-grandchild, Bentley Everett;
3therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6Darrell H. Everett, and extend our sincere condolences to his
7family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
8further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Darrell Everett as an expression of
11our deepest sympathy.
