SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Norman R. Cravens of Dahlgren, who passed away on September 24, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Norman Cravens served his country as a member of the United States Army in Korea; and

WHEREAS, Norman Cravens was employed as a salesman at the Wabash Valley Service Company; and

WHEREAS, Norman Cravens was a member of Jefferson Lodge 0368 Ancient Free and Accepted Masons in Opdyke; and

WHEREAS, Norman Cravens is survived by his wife, Lena Cravens; his son, Scott Cravens; his 2 brothers; his 2 sisters; and his grandchildren, Aaron Scott, Austin Jeffrey, and Rylan Mellott Cravens, Amy Green, and Briar Curd; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Norman R. Cravens; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Norman Cravens as an expression of our sympathy.
