SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Joseph P. Knox of McHenry, who passed
4away on July 21, 2013; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Joseph Knox was born on September 20, 1957 in
6Woodstock; he was the son of Robert W., Sr. and Norma (nee
7Hiller) Knox; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Joseph Knox graduated from Crystal Lake Central
9High School in 1976; he subsequently continued his education at
10McHenry County College; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Joseph Knox served as the manager of Turnberry
12Country Club in Lakewood and of Prestwick Country Club in
13Frankfort for many years; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Joseph Knox volunteered his time at Centegra
15Hospital-McHenry; he enjoyed golfing, boating, sailing,
16vacations, and spending time with his family; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Joseph Knox was preceded in death by his father,
18Robert Knox, Sr., and his brother, James John Knox; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Joseph Knox is survived by his daughter, Ayshia

1Knox; his former wife, Renea Knox; his mother, Norma Knox; his
2siblings, Michael Knox, Judy (Kenneth) Stoerp, Janet Weidner,
3Theodore Knox, Timothy (Cheryl) Knox, Mary (Alan) Hafferkamp,
4Robert W. (Kelly) Knox Jr., and Annette (Chris) Adrian; his
5aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his best
6friends, Ted Ziarkowski and Jerry Collins; therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
9family and friends, mourn the passing of Joseph P. Knox; and be
10it further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Joseph Knox as an expression of our
13sympathy.
