SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of James L. Crockett of Woodrige; and

WHEREAS, James Crockett was a Vietnam Army Veteran and a Purple Heart Recipient; and

WHEREAS, James Crockett was the beloved husband of Colette (nee Kolek); the loving father of Jeff (Tracy), Kevin (Stacy), Jason Crockett, and Michelle (Vince) Norcia; the dear grandfather of Alyssa, Nick, Meghan, Connor, and Ryan; the great-grandfather of Libby Rose and Cole Daniel; the devoted son of the late Daisy Mae (nee Meyer) and the late James Crockett; the fond brother of Sandra (John) Snyder, Donna (Buddy) Matlock, and the late Edward (Eulene) Crockett; the brother-in-law of Allan (Sandy) Kolek; and an uncle to many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of James Crockett, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of James Crockett as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
