SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Georgia Helen Adamski of Springfield, who
4passed away on May 12, 2013; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Georgia Adamski was born on June 4, 1930, in
6Detroit, Michigan, to Mary and George Hodge; she graduated from
7Lanphier High School; she married William Adamski Jr. on July
814, 1950; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Georgia Adamski served as the cook at Christian
10Nursery School and volunteered for many years at Hope
11Evangelical Free Church and Lake Helen Bible Camp in Wausaukee,
12Wisconsin; she and her husband were owners and operators of the
13Morning Star Cafe in Salisbury and she worked there from 1998
14to 2012; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Georgia Adamski was a homemaker and she enjoyed
16gardening, travel, animals, and cooking and enjoyed family
17meals and holiday dinners; she was a member of Bethany
18Evangelical Lutheran Church until 1978 and then of Hope
19Evangelical Free Church until 2013; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Georgia Adamski is survived by her husband,
21William; her daughters, Linda J. Painter and Patricia L.

1Adamski; her sons, Eric W. (Gail) Adamski and Robert J. (Laura)
2Adamski; her 10 grandchildren; her 4 great-grandchildren; and
3several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6Georgia Adamski, and extend our sincere condolences to her
7family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
8further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Georgia Adamski as an expression of
11our deepest sympathy.
