SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Louise A. Miller of McHenry, who passed away on November 14, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Louise Miller was born on August 25, 1923 in Chicago; his parents were George and Louise (nee Munse) Kiddelsen; she married the late Gerald Miller on October 17, 1943 in San Francisco, California; and

WHEREAS, Louise Miller was a member of the St. Mary Catholic Church, where she sang in the choir; she was also a member of the McHenry Choral Club and a card club; and

WHEREAS, Louise Miller enjoyed ceramics and spending time with her family; and

WHEREAS, Louise Miller was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald; her parents; a granddaughter; 2 great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Beverly; 2 sisters; and 3 brothers; and

WHEREAS, Louise Miller is survived by 5 children, Carol Dawdy, Jerry (Jackie) Miller, Janet (Gerald) Lloyd, and Randall and Paul Miller; 14 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Louise A. Miller; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Louise Miller as an expression of our sympathy.
