SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Olga Ann Sente of Vernon Hills, who passed away on October 8, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Olga Sente was born in Gussing, Austria on July 3, 1928 to Florian and Anna Illigasch; and

WHEREAS, Olga Sente was a devoted mother, wife, and friend and was an active volunteer who loved giving back to her community; and

WHEREAS, Olga Sente enjoyed the opera, traveling, painting, and reading; and

WHEREAS, Olga Sente was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore; her daughter, Christine; and her siblings, Adolph, Elli, and Irma; and

WHEREAS, Olga Sente is survived by her daughters, Carol and Clare Sente, and her grandchildren, Natalie and Jake Machtig; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Olga Ann Sente, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Olga Sente as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
