SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Diane J. "Dee" LaRock, formerly of McHenry, who passed away on October 14, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Diane LaRock was born in Chicago on May 27, 1948; she graduated from Forest View High School in Arlington Heights and married Wayne Paul LaRock; and

WHEREAS, Diane LaRock worked at CRV Electronics in McHenry during the 1980s and later worked at McHenry Middle School as a teacher's assistant; and

WHEREAS, Affectionately known as "Nana", Diane LaRock enjoyed playing dominoes, cribbage, and spoons, and sharing crochet patterns with her granddaughters; she also enjoyed story time, cuddles, and playing with her grandson; her hobbies included swimming, boating, crocheting, taking care of her German Shepherds, and shopping at Hobby Lobby and Kirkland's; she and her husband retired to Port St. Lucie, Florida; and

WHEREAS, Diane LaRock was preceded in death by her birth parents, Jacob and Helen Urlich, and a sister, Eileen Adeszko; and

WHEREAS, Diane LaRock is survived by her parents, John "Jack" and Mildred "Millie" Clarke; her husband, Wayne; 4 children, Dawn (Victor "Jay" Beyer), Todd (Michele Clare), Scott (Jenna Rice), and Keith (Kimberly Simonetta); grandchildren, Julie and Denise Beyer and Blake LaRock; and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Diane J. "Dee" LaRock, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Diane LaRock as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
