SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Maryann H. Winkelman of Woodstock, who
4passed away on October 18, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Maryann Winkelman was born on September 9, 1926 in
6Muscoda, Wisconsin; her parents were John and Florence (nee
7Boch) Gies; she married Harold Winkelman on June 2, 1945 at St.
8Mary Catholic Church in Woodstock; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Maryann Winkelman was a member of St. Patrick
10Catholic Church in Hartland; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Maryann Winkelman worked for D200 Transportation
12for several years; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Maryann Winkelman was preceded in death by her
14parents; a son, Michael Winkelman; a daughter, Diane Gluth; and
152 brothers, Delbert Gies and William Gies; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Maryann Winkelman is survived by her loving
17husband of 69 years, Harold; a son, Kenneth (Jan) Winkelman,
18Sr.; a daughter, Debbie (Rick) Labaz; 6 grandchildren, Kenneth
19(Katie) Winkelman, Jr., Gail (Sean) Anuskewicz, Paul (Melissa)
20Winkelman, Mark Winkelman, Brook Winkelman, and Sarah (Adam

1Marshall) Labaz; a great-grandson, Emmett Winkelman; a
2brother, Jack (Margaret) Gies; 2 sisters-in-law, Jane Gies and
3Frances Gies; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and
4great-nephews; therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
7family and friends, mourn the passing of Maryann H. Winkelman;
8and be it further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Maryann Winkelman as an expression
11of our sympathy.
