SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Geraldine Louise Fulton of Litchfield, who passed away on October 25, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Geraldine Fulton was born in Gillespie on July 27, 1921 to Elliott and Maude (nee Brooks) Duncan; she graduated from Gillespie High School and married Robert Davies Fulton in Gillespie on December 14, 1940; and

WHEREAS, Geraldine Fulton was a homemaker and a former beautician in Gillespie; and

WHEREAS, Geraldine Fulton was a member of United Methodist Church of Gillespie; and

WHEREAS, Geraldine Fulton was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Robert; her parents; and a grandson, Scott Fulton; and

WHEREAS, Geraldine Fulton is survived by 2 sons, Robert (Pat) Fulton and Glenn (Renee) Fulton; granddaughter, Suzanne (Baron) Stayton; grandsons, Bob (Lucinda) Fulton and Brad (Julie) Fulton; 8 great-grandchildren, Miranda, Lydia, and Samantha Fulton, Megan, Drew, and Jillian Stayton, and Braden and Brennan Fulton; 2 sisters, Wannie Kalaskie and Viola Wenzel; and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Geraldine Louise Fulton, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Geraldine Fulton as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
