SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Pamela J. Wurm of McHenry, who passed away on September 27, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Pamela Wurm was born on May 28, 1955 in Chicago; her parents were Daniel Richard and Joanne (nee Walter) Palmer; she married Richard Wurm on May 7, 1977 in Streamwood; and

WHEREAS, Pamela Wurm began her career as a dental assistant and later joined the accounting department of Elgin Sweeper; she was subsequently employed at Tuft-Edgecombe as an accounting assistant and then as an accountant for Elgin Airport, Executive Air, King's Land O' Lakes airport, and Boulder Junction; she also worked at Central Specialties as an accounting manager and served as a family accountant for 37 years; and

WHEREAS, Pamela Wurm was preceded in death by her father; and

WHEREAS, Pamela Wurm is survived by her husband, Richard; 2 children, Stacey and Scott Wurm; her mother; 2 brothers, Daniel (Lori) Palmer and Douglas (Susie) Palmer; and a future grandchild, Olivia; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Pamela J. Wurm; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Pamela Wurm as an expression of our sympathy.
