SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Ralph Joseph Sprott of Waukegan, who
4passed away on June 18, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Ralph Sprott was born in Waukegan on February 26,
61970 to Ralph and Irene Sprott; he attended North Chicago
7public schools and graduated from North Chicago Community High
8School in 1988; he attended the University of Illinois
9Champaign-Urbana, where he earned both his undergraduate
10degree and Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Ralph Sprott received his license to practice as a
12speech and language pathologist in July of 2001; he worked for
13school districts in the McHenry and Kane County areas,
14including schools in Algonquin and Huntly; he then worked for
15ProCare as a speech pathologist, serving in this capacity at
16North Chicago Community High School and Neal Jr. High School;
17and
 
18    WHEREAS, Ralph Sprott was a member of the Waukegan Alumni
19Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi-Fraternity Incorporated, and served
20as the Strategus; he was also a member of Jesus Name Apostolic
21Church since 2013; and

1    WHEREAS, Ralph Sprott is survived by his parents, Ralph and
2Irene Sprott; sister, Vickey Wells; fiance, Patricia Wade, and
3her daughters, Trynity and Tystin Wade, as well as her mother,
4Elder Lillian Poole and her sister Deborah Farris, and a host
5of aunts, uncles, and cousins; special friends, Ahmad Qawi,
6James Stoval, Donell Foster, and James Morris; and his
7childhood friends and fellow classmates, affectionately known
8as, The Sophisticated Gents; therefore, be it
 
9    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
10ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
11Ralph Joseph Sprott, and extend our sincere condolences to his
12family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
13further
 
14    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
15presented to the family of Ralph Sprott as an expression of our
16deepest sympathy.
