SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Marjorie A. Baldoni of Crystal Lake, who
4passed away on May 22, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Marjorie Baldoni was born on August 16, 1914 in
6Morton to William and Ida (nee Moschel) Eisele; she married
7Andrew A. Baldoni on September 26, 1942 in Pekin; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Marjorie Baldoni worked as a secretary while her
9husband attended college, entered the United States Army, and
10went to graduate school; she enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom
11and raising her children; she eventually returned to work and
12worked for the McHenry County Title Company and the State of
13Illinois, from where she retired; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Marjorie Baldoni enjoyed playing bridge, golf,
15and traveling around the world with her husband; she was an
16active member of the Crystal Lake Women's Club, the Service
17League, the League of Women Voters, and various book clubs; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Marjorie Baldoni was preceded in death by her
19husband, as well as by many dear friends and relatives; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Marjorie Baldoni is survived by her 2 sons, Andrew

1A. Baldoni, Jr. (Judy) and William B. Baldoni; therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Marjorie A. Baldoni, and extend our sincere condolences to her
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
6further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Marjorie Baldoni as an expression of
9our deepest sympathy.
