SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Chad Arthur Matthew Langheim of Farmersville, who passed away on May 2, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Chad Langheim was born in Springfield on May 29, 2014 to William and Kathye (nee Reese) Langheim; he was a long-time resident of Pawnee and married Cherish Hart; and

WHEREAS, Chad Langheim was co-superintendent of schools in the Pawnee School District and the principal at Lincolnwood High School; and

WHEREAS, Chad Langheim was a former women's and men's basketball coach; he was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs, the Chicago Bears, the Illini, and an immense fan of Elvis; he was very involved with being a coach and mentor to his children; and

WHEREAS, Chad Langheim was preceded in death by a son, Hunter Matthew Langheim; and

WHEREAS, Chad Langheim is survived by his wife, Cherish; his 4 daughters, Paige Madison, Morgan Nicole, Lakynn Rebecca, and Sophie Cherish Annette; parents, William and Kathye Langheim, Sr.; one sister, Rebecca (Josh) Adcock; 2 brothers, William (Maria) Langheim, Jr. and Reese Langheim; several aunts and uncles; one niece, Hanna; 3 nephews, Zack, Austin, and Connor; and several cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Chad Arthur Matthew Langheim, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable of this resolution be presented to the family of Chad Langheim as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
