SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Chyrel "Cheryl" E. Maluska, who passed away on March 18, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Chyrel Maluska was born July 12, 1948 in Portland, Oregon and was a resident of Lake County her whole life; she married her high school sweetheart, Robert J. Maluska, Sr. in 1965 and had 5 children, 15 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren; and

WHEREAS, Chyrel Maluska took pride in being an Election Judge for Lake County and loved creating art; she also started and directed the Art Program at St. Anastasia School in Waukegan and was very passionate about teaching; and

WHEREAS, Chyrel Maluska was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Chyrel "Cheryl" E. Maluska; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Chyrel Maluska as an expression of our sympathy.
